Who can join the Muni?
Residents and non-residents are welcome to join the Summit Muni. Resident membership rates are limited to Summit residents and taxpayers, Summit business owners and lessees, City of Summit employees, current and retired Summit Board of Education employees, and active Summit First Aid Squad Members, and their immediate families.

What are the current fees to join the Muni?
The current fees to join the Muni: Summit Adult (18 - 61) - $50, Summit Senior (62+) - $40, Summit Junior (6 - 17) - $40 and Non-residents (11+) - $115.

What is the Muni's guest policy?
Guests and members ages 6 - 10 must be accompanied on the course by an adult member (18+) at all times. Members ages 11+ are permitted to golf without adult supervision and may bring guests who are 11+, only.

I am new to Summit and would like to join the Muni. Do I need to show proof of residency to register at resident rates?
Yes. Proof of residency is required when joining the Muni for the first time at Summit resident rates. Please provide at least one document or photo ID as proof of residency (ex. license, recent utility bill).

What is the layout of the course?
The Muni is a Par 3, 9-hole executive course.
6.
When does the golf course open and close for the season?
Weather permitting, the Muni will open for the season in April and remain open through mid to late November.
7.
How old do I have to be to enter the Muni without adult supervision?
Members ages 6 - 10 must be accompanied on the course by an adult member (18+) at all times. Members ages 11+ are permitted to golf without adult supervision and may bring guests who are 11+, only.
8.
What are the hours of operation for the Muni?
The course opens at 9 AM on weekdays and 8 AM on weekends and holidays. Final tee-off will take place approximately 90 minutes before sunset.

Does the Muni offer any clinics or tournaments?
Yes.

Does the Muni offer private lessons?
Yes. Private lessons are offered with our golf professional, Bill McCluney. All lessons are arranged directly through Bill - 908-447-1546.
11.
What is the weather cancellation policy at the Muni?
If inclement weather conditions arise, the Muni may close for the day. In colder weather months, the Muni may also experience occasional frost delays. We recommend contacting the course ahead of time at 908-277-6828 during inclement weather days.
12.
I am interested in becoming a tee-mat sponsor with the Muni. Who should I contact?
Becoming a tee-mat sponsor is a guaranteed way for your business to gain valuable exposure to thousands of Summit and neighboring residents. For more information on joining us as a tee-mat sponsor, contact the DCP at 908-277-2932.

Does the Muni lend out equipment?
A limited number of equipment rentals are available for a fee. Please call ahead to the front gate at 908-277-6828 for more information on available rentals for the day.
