Stand Up Paddleboard Class


Members, ages 5+  $30 per class
Non-Members, ages 5+  $50 per class 
(Must be able to swim comfortably in deep water)

· Friday, July 20 from 8:00-9:00 PM
· Monday, August 6 from 9:15-10:15 AM

These classes will introduce the fundamentals to working out on an unstable surface in the water utilizing our Glide Fit platform. You'll be introduced to a variety of exercises to build strength from head to toe while you raise your heart rate with the added bonus of firing stabilizers that often go unused in a fun new way. As you orient yourself on the platform you will be working your core to the strengthen your body. Adding in mobility and flexibility to keep you moving throughout each class focusing on different areas of the body to test your balance with proper technique. These classes are designed for all levels of fitness skill sets because we can modify positions of the body to keep you safe and working hard no matter what level of practitioner you are. Come with an open mind and ready to have a good time.


Paddleboard Lessons


Members, ages 5+  $50 per class

• Monday August 13 - 7:45-9:00 PM


Master this exciting water sport alongside trained instructors from Kayak East, LLC and Paddle in the comfort and safety of the SFAC. The only shark you’ll have to worry about here is Shark Diddy. All Lessons held at SFAC at 100 Ashwood Ave.



Kayak Lessons


Members, ages 5+  $50 per class

Adult Aquacise


Monday-Friday

 Plunge into daily water exercise. No prior swimming ability required.


T’ai Chi


Wednesdays
10:00-11:00
Learn to relax and de-stress using the gentle motions of T’ai Chi. Many health benefits have been attributed to this ancient practice.


Gentle Chair Yoga


Fridays
9:30-10:30
Experience various styles of yoga. Positions will be modified for those who have balance and range-of-motion issues.
