Robot sumo wrestling means that once a match starts, humans are entirely out of the loop! So how does the robot know what to do? How could it be strong enough to defeat an opposing bot? Your child will learn how to develop the solutions to these answers! Through engineering, programming, and lots of testing, your child will learn how to battle their sumo bot in a tournament against their classmates!

about lions, elephants, sharks and more, and find out how wildlife

conservationists are working to protect species around the globe.

Experiment with a variety of art techniques, and use Crayola®

products to create animal-inspired art projects, from frog paintings to

This program will give your student opportunities to build functional models of elevators, amusement park rides, robotic dogs, spinning tops, and so much more using LEGO® DUPLO®  Technique bricks! As your learner works alongside other little engineers, they will be learning the importance of teamwork and how collaboration is an essential component of engineering and design.

This fun and interactive STEM program focuses on coding and robotics, introducing students to the engineering design process using LEGO® Spike Essential Robotics Sets. The young engineers will work in pairs building models, such as a swing and a submarine. They will define problems, brainstorm solutions, and test their prototypes to improve their ideas. Children will gain confidence and challenge their creativity as they build and program their construction projects. Join us for an inspiring journey!

Course description

Focusing on popular arcade games, students will work in pairs to build prototypes as they learn the engineering design process. They will then program their designs with Scratch MIT, a block-based code, to perform various tasks and functions. Bucket Drums X (BDX) is an engaging music program designed to teach students the fundamentals of bucket drumming in a fun, energetic setting. Through BDX, students will learn to play bucket drums, read and interpret music notes, and perform as part of a dynamic drum band. The program features hands-on practice with popular, modern music that students enjoy, creating a lively experience that blends skill-building with songs they love. BDX aims to develop rhythm, teamwork, and musical knowledge, all while letting students connect with music in a fresh and exciting way.
