The Battle of the Bands event will be held at Summit’s Village Green - 356 Broad Street, Summit, NJ on Saturday, September 26, 2020. The event is tentatively from 12-5 PM. This. This is dependent on the number of bands we get that are interested. If you are interested in participating, please email David Guida at email@example.com by Monday, September 14, 2020. If you do chose to participate, the please provide a time that you prefer, as it will assist in putting together the schedule. We are requesting that all bands be able to bring their own PA/amplification system because of COVID - we want to make sure all equipment is their own to reduce the spread.
Performance times for bands will be half an hour and can perform any original or cover songs. The winner of Battle will get a paid performance at a 2021 event with the Department of Community Programs.
As far as the crowd, social distancing will be enforced. When people leave their seats, they must be wearing a mask when walking away from their group that they are with.
