National Night Out
Taking place annually on the first Tuesday of August, National Night Out is a community-building event celebrated across the United States.
Featuring a variety of state, federal, and municipal level agencies, National Night Out provides a chance for community members to come together with law enforcement individuals.
The event features displays and demonstrations from various federal, state, and county law enforcement agencies, in addition to the Summit police and fire departments, Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, and Division of Public Works.
All funds raised at the dunk tank, featuring Summit police officers and firefighters, will be donated to a local family in need.
