Summit Has Pride

This brand new 2019 event for the City of Summit will help to advance Summit's ongoing celebrations of the different populations within our City that make it the special place that it is. This June, the City will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community that exists in Summit and the surrounding area.

This exciting afternoon will be composed of several different elements to make everyone PROUD to be a Summit resident during this June's annual Pride Month. The Summit Public Library has signed on to sponsor The Drag Queen Story Hour and Family Friendly Drag Show from 6:00-7:00 PM. Then, at 7:00 PM The Boy Band Project will be taking over the big stage to perform everyone's favorite boy band tunes. The night will conclude with a movie showing of the PG-13 movie Dear Simon.

Additionally, we hope to be joined by organizations who serve the LGBTQ+ Communtiy. Food Trucks will create a food truck court as well.

We are looking for Community Partners who would like to become involved in the event. If you are involved in an interested organization, please contact David Guida at dguidajr@cityofsummit.org

The event is sponsored by The Connection and Summit Free Public Library.
