Summit Has Pride

The Summit Department of Community Programs is hosting its annual LGBTQ+ Pride Month event, Summit Has Pride, on Saturday, June 7, from 3:30PM to 7PM on the Village Green, located at 356 Broad Street in Summit.

Summit Has Pride celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in Summit and surrounding areas. The event will begin at 3:45PM with musical performance by Summit resident and former The Voice television series contestant Sabrina Dias; at 4:15 the event will continue with a drag show featuring Octavia Anyae, followed by a musical performance by Cantor Fair of Temple Sinai at 5:00PM, and a concert with White Wedding at 5:15PM.

The event will include educational displays from organizations serving the LGBTQ+ community. There will be special art activities, a temporary tattoo booth, and more. 

The event is free and open to all members of the public. This event is sponsored by Gilead, Atlantic Health, the Jewish Federation of MetroWest New Jersey, Saint John’s Lutheran Church, and Temple Sinai of Summit.
