Tatlock Playground

The City of Summit has been working toward the completion of the Tatlock Playground! We have placed a down payment on two custom pieces of equipment, including the Own play structure. 

Two playground designs have been curated for the park.  The final playground design will be dependent on fundraising by August 1, 2025.

Current Funding

Summit Common Council Capital Budget

  • $500,000: 2025 - Budget
  • $250,000: 2024 Budget

Thanks to the support of this project by Summit’s Common Council we are well on our way to funding the playground!

Grants

  • $62,000: NJ LRIG
  • $40,000: County Kids Rec Trust
