Join us on Friday, February 6, 2026, for a Boston Tea Party at the Summit Community Center. Enjoy finger sandwiches, scones, and tea-based beverages!
We will provide arts and crafts, and a fun, hands-on look at this important moment in American history.
We’ll kick things off with a short Boston Tea Party story and a Readers Theatre created by 4th grade IDEAS students at Summit Public Schools. Then it’s time for the tea party luncheon, a make-your-own tea bag demo and activity, a popsicle-stick boat-building competition, picket sign making, and a “tea toss” into our mini “ocean” (a small pool). Crosswords will be available, too.
