Share The Fun Club

Share the Fun Club

The Share the Fun Club is open to all Summit residents in Grades 2-8.

Come “share the fun” with some new friends at this free after school program. Our program supervisor will lead children through a variety of interactive gym games, arts & crafts, homework help, and more. For the 2019 school year, we are excited to expand our program to go until 5:30 PM every day!

NEW FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR, ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER FOR AN OPEN GYM MEMBERSHIP TO ATTEND THE SHARE THE FUN CLUB. Memberships are $50.00 per participant or $125.00 for a family membership. If you do the math, that works out to only 27 cents per day, you still can't beat that.

If you have any questions regarding the Share the Fun Club, please contact David Guida at dguidajr@cityofsummit.org

The Process:

Children should enter the building through the Celgene Senior Lounge Entrance. All children should immedietely go and scan in at the Game Room. Children should leave their personal belongings in the Benson Room.

Typically, there will be three rooms in the Community Center available for participants of the Game Room

  • Benson Room: In this room, snack will be served each day, arts and crafts will be offered and homework help will be available.
  • Guida Gymansium: Children can enjoy a varity of diffent activities in the gym. Half of the gym will be reserved for basketball each day. The other half, on select days may be used for dodge ball, four square, badminton, and other fun activities!
  • Game Room: Make your way on over to the game room to play ping pong, shoot pool, or play some board games.

The Share the Fun Club will meet on most half days beginning at 12:30. On half days, you may send your child with $2.50 per slice of pizza that they may like to order! Be sure to check back for schedule updates and notices on when this will be offered.
