Share the Fun Club 2025-2026 School Year Info
The Share the Fun Club is open to all Summit residents in Grades 1-8. The Share the Fun Club is a FULLY SUPERVISED drop in program.
Come “share the fun” with some new friends at this free after school program. Our program supervisors will lead children through a variety of interactive gym games, arts & crafts, homework help, and more.
All participant must register for a 2025-2026 Open Gym Memberships. Memberships are $50.00 per participant or $150.00 for a family membership. If you do the math, that works out to only 27 cents per day, you can’t beat that.
If you have any questions regarding the Share the Fun Club, please contact David Guida at dguidajr@cityofsummit.org.
The Daily Process
Children should enter the building through the Main Entrance. All children should immediately go and scan in at the Front Desk. Children should leave their personal belongings in the Inventors Gym.
Typically, there will be three rooms in the Community Center available for participants of the Game Room
- Guida Gym: The Investors Gym will be divided into two sections. On one side of the room, snack will be served each day, arts and crafts will be offered and homework help will be available. On the other side of the Gym, children can enjoy a variety of different activities in the gym. Half of the gym will be reserved for basketball each day. The other half, on select days may be used for dodge ball, four square, badminton, and other fun activities!
- Game Room: The "Game Room" - or Jordan Glatt Youth Lounge has couches and seating where children can play video games, board games or do some arts and crafts!
- Meeting Room: The Meeting Room across from the professional offices at the Department of Community Programs will be open for children to sit in quietly to take part in quiet activities such as homework.
Half Days
The Share the Fun Club will meet on most half days beginning at 12:30. On half days, you may send your child with $2.50 per slice of pizza that they may like to order! Be sure to check back for schedule updates and notices on when this will be offered.
